COMPLETE FESTIVAL GUIDE

Thursday, August 2nd

8am – SLACK – Dodge City Roundup Arena

With the huge number of competitors in the rodeo, they could never get all of the preliminary rounds over in the evening rodeo show.  The qualifying rounds are run in the Slack time, beginning at 8am and running until they get done.  It is a great time to watch the competition at no charge!!

9am-4pm - WESTERN ART SHOW -  Landmark National Bank

11am-1:30pm – DOG DAY AFTERNOON - Wright Park

Dog Day Afternoon sponsored by Pepsi will be exciting this year for kids and adults!  Pepsi will be serving up the hot dogs, chips, and Pepsi for only $1. There will be a moon walk and dunk tank sponsored by Waters True Value and best of all Wacky Trikes!  Come and watch corporate teams race against each other on these crazy, zainy trikes to see who can have the bragging rights.  For more information contact the Chamber at 620-227-3119. 

12pm - PRCA CLOWN AUTOGRAPHS - Wright Park

Come meet and get aquainted with your favorite, wild and crazy Rodeo Clown. The Rodeo clowns will be here to sign autographs for everyone.  Don’t get left out!

6pm-8:30pm – MISS RODEO KANSAS & TEEN PAGEANT - Spare Tyme Bowl

The Miss Rodeo Kansas & Teen Pageant participants will be bowling and signing autographs.  

7:45pm – DODGE CITY ROUNDUP PRCA RODEO – A WRANGLER PROTOUR RODEO/NIGHT WITH PIZZA HUT AND PEPSI- Dodge City Roundup Arena

Pizza Hut Pizza & Pepsi for $1.  All proceeds from Pizza Hut & Pepsi donated to Dodge City Women’s Chamber.  Prior to the PRCA Grand Entry, Out West will sponsor a Stick Horse Grand Entry.  For more information on the Stick Horse Grand Entry, contact Out West at 620-225-9025 or the Dodge City Roundup Office at 620-225-2244.
