1pm - FIESTA
- Rancho El Palomino
Fiesta, sponsored by Cargill, National Beef, the Chamber of Commerce,
La Mexicana, and Rancho El Palomino, is an afternoon of great food
and musical entertainment provided by Banda El Pilar during
Charriada exhibition, and for everyone to dance to Marco Antonio y
sus 3 de dgo. Admission to the event is only a lapel pin.

2pm – Z-98 GREAT QUACK ATTACK
- Wright Park
“The largest cash payout during Dodge City Days – it’s the GREAT
QUACK ATTACK, the largest rubber duck race in Dodge City!”
$15,500.00 in cash and more in prizes will be up for grabs. The bounty
is being offered by corporate sponsors, Credit Union of Dodge City,
Eagle Med, Dr. Alex Neel, Frontier Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, and Frontier
Kia. Additional sponsors are Wheatland Mortgage, Winter
Livestock, Dr. Kelly Henrichs, United Telephone, and High
Plains Journal. Purchase your duck lease from a member of the
Alley and be qualified for a chance to win a portion of the big cash
payout. And the best part of all, the money goes to a local youth
charity. Just $10 for a duck lease or a six-quack for $50 will qualify
you and the winning gets even bigger if you have a lapel pin. Don’t
despair, AFLAC will take care of the hard luck ducks and you can
win with that too. Don’t worry; the water is going to run again in
Dodge City thanks to Maupin-Midwest Recycling, Inc. From your
friends at Q-97, Z-98 and KBSD. Concessions will be

7pm-10pm – CARNIVAL IN THE PARK – Wright Park
D &
J Shows is owned and operated by Dodge City residents Don & Annette
Costello. They feature family entertainment with carnival rides and
games for all ages, children to adult. Come by just to say hi and watch
the lights or ride a few rides, play a game or two and have some cotton
candy. Beginning Sunday night and continuing nightly until August 1st.
Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday are family nights, a single price for all
rides. A discount is given for wearing your lapel pin when
purchasing multiple ride tickets. |
