DAWN TO DUSK CITY WIDE SIDEWALK SALE
From the first light
of day ‘til the heat melts you, enjoy the biggest and best deals of the
year! In all shopping areas of Dodge City you will find bargains
galore.
7am – DODGE CITY DAYS 5K AND 1 MILE SHOOT OUT
- 2nd and Gunsmoke
Come enjoy some exercise before the parade. Run a 5K or a 1 Mile or be
energetic and run both. Entry fees are $15 for one race and $20 for
both if paid by July 20th. After July 20th entry
fees will be $20 for one race and $25 for both. Registration will begin
at 7am with the races starting at 8am for the 5k and 9:30am for the

7:30am-6pm - COORS/MGA GOLF TOURNAMENT -
Mariah Hills
This tournament
sponsored by Coors and the Men’s Golf Association begins on Saturday.
There will be a Free Hamburger Fry sponsored by Southwest Distributing

10am - DODGE CITY DAYS WESTERN PARADE

We
present to you the 49th Dodge City Days Western Parade.
The Parade Marshall this year is Carey Hoskinson, General
Manager, National Beef. Our
theme this year, “Raise a Ruckus!” promises to make great floats
sponsored by local businesses and clubs. To participate in the
parade, register at the Civic Center at 7 am.
11am- 19th ANNUAL BARBECUE CONTEST -
Wright Park
This event is sanctioned by the KCBS (Kansas City Barbecue
Society) as an official cook off, and entering its 19th
year of the best BBQ in Southwest Kansas! At 11:00 am the public is
invited to join us to sample the best of the best in BBQ. Entry into
the park is a lapel pin and $3.00. Kids under 10 free with a
lapel pin. The BACKYARD BBQ, sponsored by High Plains Journal
is for the backyard chef to show off their culinary skills.
Participants will prepare for judges only. Cargill and
National Beef provide the public sampling BBQ. There will be a live
band and fun for the kids. For more information, contact the Chamber

8pm – Q97 CELEBRATES 25 YEARS OF COUNTRY- JOE NICHOLS with special
