Monday, July 27th  

9am-4pm - WESTERN ART SHOW - Landmark National Bank

The public is cordially invited to attend Landmark National Bank’s 16th Annual Western Art Show. We are proud to introduce this year Jimmy Don Cox.  He specializes in Bronzes,Giclees and Oil Paintings.  He is a cowboy, fine artist, singer/musician, Viet-nam Vet, actor, poet and former deputy sheriff.  Drop by Landmark National Bank’s Central & Spruce location to view beautiful displays of prints and meet the artist Monday, July 27th through Friday, July 31st, from 9am to 4 pm. Admission is free and refreshments are served each day!

6pm-10pm – CARNIVAL IN THE PARK - Wright Park

6:30pm - SOUTHERN GOSPEL CHRISTIAN CONCERT - Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe

“Daybreak Quartet” is returning for the 11th year with the performance starting at 6:30.  This event is held Monday, July 27, 2009, Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe, 3231 N. 14th, with admission being a lapel pin. Free will offerings will be accepted.  This event is a benefit performance for Manor of the Plains, Charitable Care Fund, which assists residents that have outlived their financial resources.  A taco and tostado meal and Mexican Wedding Cake will be served from 5:00 to 6:15 for $6.00 per person, prior to the performances at the Cathedral Social Center. 8:30pm-11:30pm - TEEN DANCE - Dodge City Community College

Once again Dodge City Community College along with Pepsi and Pizza Hut bring you the ever popular Dodge City Days Teen Dance for kids from 12-18 years old.  Mad DJ Soundmix, Monica & Opie Astorga, along with Z-98 will provide all the top hits of the summer.  To accommodate the overwhelming crowd, this event is at the Dodge City Community College Campus.  Admission is $2.00 with your lapel pin.  Security is provided. In case of rain, the dance will be held at the Hoover Pavilion in Wright Park.
