5pm - DODGE CITY DAYS ROCK N' RACE FEST presented by 93.9
the BUZZARD - Dodge City Raceway Park
A night of Stock Car and Sprint Car racing and Rock n' Roll featuring
local bands starting at 5pm and very special welcome to POP EVIL who is
climbing the charts with hits like "100 in a 55" , "HERO", and
"LIPSTICK". Then Jesse James DuPree steps on the stage with "JACKYL" and
will rock with such hits like "Down on Me", "When Will It Rain", and
most notably, "The Lumberjack Song" which features Jesse with his
infamous chain saw rendition! Tickets will be on sale soon through
www.dodgecityraceway.com or call the DCRP office 620-225-3277 Monday
- Friday from 9am to 5pm.
Each person with
a lapel pin will get a $5 admission to the races on August 1,
2009.
6:30-9pm - BOOT HILL BULL FRY & BASH - Boot
Hill Museum Complex
The
8th Annual Boot Hill Bull Fry & Bash is sponsored by
Pepsi, Q97 & Z98, and Gene’s Heartland Foods. One ticket
price gets you in the door and you can eat all you care to eat. The
menu is Calf Fries, Beef Brisket, Coleslaw, Sally’s Potatoes n’ Onions,
Baked Beans, Pepsi and Ice Tea. Alcohol will be sold separately. You
will be entertained while you eat by the Q97 Road Show. Tickets are
$10.00 with a Dodge City Days Pin or $12.00 without. Children 10 and
under are $5.00 with a DC Days Pin or $7.00 without. All proceeds
benefit Boot Hill Museum. Bull Fry t-shirts will be available at the

10pm- 1:30am – CENTRAL STATION STREET DANCE
- Central Station
Restaurant will be
serving food until 10pm inside. The rock band “Ask Vinnie” will crank
out the tunes outside. After 10pm, the Station’s Deejay will provide a
mixed genre of music inside.
